PROGRAM:
A new HD Multi-Channel Master Control
PRESENTERS:
Sam Vasa, WETA
Brad Hughes, Communications Engineering, Inc.
Joe Strobel, Communications Engineering, Inc.
The DC Section will visit WETA's new master control which was designed from the ground up for multi-channel DTV transmission, in both HD and SD formats. Project Managers and Engineers from WETA and Systems Integrator CEI will discuss the trials and tribulations of new technologies and upgrading old infrastructure.
DIRECTIONS:
WETA-TV is located in their Administrative Building in the heart of Shirlington. This is not the same building as the TV Studios. There is ample parking on the surrounding streets and public garages (some are limited until after 5pm).
