Advisory Notes


An Advisory Note is a brief informative document developed by consensus of a Technology Committee detailing an issue before the Technology Committee. An Advisory Note generally should have a limited term benefit to the industry and should typically be withdrawn after the issues it describes are resolved. Publication shall be with approval of the Engineering Vice President. An Advisory Note shall be withdrawn automatically 6 months after initial publication or sooner by consensus of the developing Technology Committee.
