Microsoft 365, formerly known as Office 365 is a collection of desktop and cloud based subscription services offered by Microsoft. It includes widely known applications like Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.

Every SMPTE SC member receives a Microsoft 365 E1 license free of charge. An E1 license includes access to web-based apps like Word, Excel and Outlook integrated with cloud services like OneDrive and Teams. It also includes access to the Microsoft Teams desktop and among others the below additional features:

• The latest web-based Office apps and business services. Office desktop apps not included.
