Vote

As mentioned previously all SC members (O or P-Members) can comment on a document but only P-Members can vote. The SMPTE SKN has a special team to facilitate voting. The special team is called “Standards Ballots and Votes” and it will contain all ballots and votes (FCD Ballot and DP Vote) for all Technology Committee’s in addition to other surveys.

• Once you clicked on the ballot

• Scrolling down through the ballot instructions will reveal the voting section of the ballot or vote. In this case it’s an Test FCD Ballot. You can cast your vote by selecting on of the radio buttons, select if you wish to receive a confirmation email and then submit your vote.

Please note, multiple votes are allowed if you want to change your vote. The latest vote will be counted. Earlier votes will be disregarded.

• To view your results, click on the “Files” tab and open the Excel spreadsheet which has the title of your ballot as a file name.

Please note, the Excel spreadsheet is read-only for SC members but read-write for TC chairs. While you can read the spreadsheet you can change the data contained in it. You have to vote again if you want to change your vote.
