The Library app provides a more enhanced search experience for published SMPTE documents and supports TC chairs in conducting 1- and 5-year reviews. It is based on the SMPTE document library which is located on GitHub. It acts as a front end to the data contained on GitHub. Various fields can be filtered searched, and/or sorted to make it easier to locate and view any documents. It is only possible to view metadata for the most recently published documents from within the app. The documents and any of its superseeded versions can be viewed on the online document library webpage which is also provided via the GitHub document library. Users can also look at curated bundles of documents and TC chairs can conduct 1- and 5-year reviews using the lists generated within the app.
