SMPTE technical sessions at IBC include High-Definition TV: New Formats, New Challenges, New Opportunities, on Saturday, Sept. 8 at 10:00 a.m., and Making Movies in 3-D, presented in association with the European Digital Cinema Forum, on Sunday, Sept. 9 at 3:15 p.m. Also, as a part-owner/partner in IBC, folks can visit the SMPTE area in the Partnership Village during the convention.
