SMPTE Technical Conference & Exhibition Call For

SMPTE is seeking proposals for papers delivered during
technical sessions and tutorials that will be conducted during the SMPTE
Technical Conference & Exhibition, set for Oct. 24-27 in Brooklyn,

post-production, filmmaking and broadcast industries and provide

Two New Staff Announced at SMPTE Headquarters

Digital Cinema Summit at

SMPTE and the ETC presented the Digital Cinema Summit at
NAB2007. Two full days of content attracted approximately 650 attendees.

SMPTE Announces April 2007 Television, Motion Picture and
Digital Cinema Standards on one combined CD-ROM

SMPTE has available a new CD-ROM dated April 1, 2007 (Volume
TV19-MP12), with SMPTE Standards, Recommended Practices, Engineering
Guidelines and Registered Disclosure Documents for Television,
Motion-Pictures and Digital Cinema. The CD-ROM includes 12 ITU-R
Recommendations in English, French and Spanish languages.

A CD-ROM subscription is two (2) consecutive single copies of
the CD-ROM. CD-ROMs are issued in April and October each year. Order CD
