9 Editing Preparation/Edit your Document

Prepare to edit your document and start editing!

9.1     Editing Introduction

Read the document, Editing HTML documents (smpte-doc.org). If you have performed the installations and have created a cloned repository on your system, then you can start the editing process from Directory layout. Editing HTML documents (smpte-doc.org) details the HTML code with which you will work directly.

This section is a supplement to Editing HTML documents (smpte-doc.org), providing additional information to aid working in the HTML editing environment.

9.2     Prepare Images to Add Your Document

Any images that you use in your document are stored in the doc/ media folder (Figure 1).

To speed up the HTML editing workflow, you can add images to the doc > media folder before you add them to the document.

9.3     Edit Your Document
