On 3 August, SMPTE launched its new website and membership database system.  This system will improve our ability to serve our members and the ways that you can communicate with us. 

In order to complete the data transfer process, however, all members must confirm their membership records the first time accessing the new system.  This is done through a simple process outline below. 

  1. Click here
  2. Enter your primary email address from your current SMPTE account
  3. Click the "Submit" button
  4. You will receive a message with a login link at the email address provided.  Check your spam/junk mail if you do not receive the email within 15 minutes
  5. Click the link in the email
  6. Once on the new screen, create and confirm a new password.   (You may create a new password that matches your password in the old system, if you wish.) 
  7. Click the "Submit" button
  8. You will then be authenticated in the new system
