You are cordially invited to join us for the PNW Section Chapter Meeting on July 27, 2017 hosted by KOMO-TV/Sinclair in Seattle WA. Time: 6:30pm -8:30pm
The topic of presentation is regarding the recent changes in the available UHF spectrum as a result of the “FCC Re-Pack”. Also an overview of some of Letrosonics academy award winning wireless microphone products and how they are used in film and television production.
Presentation given by Kelly Fair, a 28-year veteran of the entertainment and broadcast production industry. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Mr. Fair studied music education and performance at Central Washington University.
In 1989 Mr. Fair began his career in film, television and broadcast audio production when he joined the staff of Audio Services Corporation. Working at ASC he caught the attention of Sennheiser Electronic Corporation.
Kelly joined the Western Regional Sales Team at Sennheiser in 1994. He was the first factory direct professional products representative for Sennheiser. A time that allowed him to be a part of the development of many of the products from Sennheiser as well as its sister company Neumann.
In 2006 Kelly joined the Riedel Communications team. Riedel at the time was a relatively unknown German matrixing production intercom company with little success in the United States. Mr. Fair moved from being the Western Regional Manager to Head of Sales for North America. Growing the company from a small player in the US entertainment and broadcast production industry to being a significant presence.
Kelly Joined Lectrosonics as their Western Regional Manager in December of 2015. In his role, he manages the distribution network, spearheads market development and serves as the key technical presence in the market place.
After the presentation KOMO has offered a tour of the facilities.
We anticipate your participation in this event, and encourage your continued support of the PNW SMPTE chapter, as we look forward too many more learning opportunities.
