Business Process management (BPM) and Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) have been successfully implemented in many other industries but they remain relatively new approaches to business improvement within the Broadcast and Media Industries .

Nic Smith from Sony Professional Europe will provide a reality check and discuss, what the Promised Land should look like, the reality of real world projects and where these approaches are headed.

This was presented in London last March – and as part of SMPTE UK policy of bringing important topics to a wider membership – we have asked for a updated presentation  to enable more to benefit ... We also will be able to see some of Sony’s work this summer with its UHD1 Production systems.

and the next Roundabout Left into Hackwood Road "Alton A339" and then at the next Roundabout turn Right Signpost "Cranbourne /Viables / Brighton Hill" into Grove Rd
Then Left at the next roundabout into Jays Close Signpost "Viables Business Park"
Go to the far end of Jays Close and you will see the Gray outline of the Sony Building. Park in front of reception.
