Andy Bocking, acting Technology Controller for BBC News, discusses the challenges of delivering continuous news output and contribution.
                                         – in simple terms Keeping BBC News On-Air and Innovating.
 He will highlight recent innovative work undertaken to create FilIP, a unique broadcast unit which delivers audio and video over IP. 



He will explain how IP technologies are used in getting the  BBC content from around the World  ( both streams and files)  into Broadcasting House for Transmission to BBC Domestic and International Audiences.

This will  be followed by a brief presentation By David Fitzgerald MD Globelynx  on the use of IP to connect Banks, Universities and any other organistion world wide who need to contribute to all broadcasters in the UK and beyond
