An evening where all aspects of Audio can be explode and discussed with experts – taking a lead from the techniques of Immersive audio – using Objects  -  and the practical issues of R128 – but basically  if its audio come and discuss !!!

The discussion will be started by Bill Brown Itv lead on Immersive audio on the Production  issues and Simon Tuff from BBC Engineering on how to give the audience and immersive experience. We also have Peter Richardson from Southampton Solent looking at the use of their Atmos™ facilities and the education for audio and Industry veteran John Emmett providing his unique view on where audio is going.....



This is an opportunity to find out what the future of immersive audio may be – and what issues need to be decided – Like Loudness (R128) and how the production Process may need to be enhanced.

And did you know that we in the UK have been transmitting object audio for over 15 years!

An informal evening looking at the current hot topics  in audio  with a small panel giving their view
on a parts of the Audio World - and then discussing with the audience how it all fits together - or not... 

We welcome  SMPTE members with  experience in object audio and its uses to add to the conversations.
