SOA and BPM in Broadcasting
20 March 2014 Business Process management (BPM) and Service Orientated Architecture (SOA) have been successfully implemented in many other industries but they remain relatively new approaches to business improvement within the Broadcast and Media Industries .
Nick Smith from Sony Professional Europe will provide a reality check and discuss, what the promised land should look like, the reality of real world projects and where these approaches are headed.
Andrew Collins for the SOA development team will be pleased to answer more detailed questions.
As an introduction Dominic Stone from IBM will do brief presentation on "Today, every company is a media company".

Partway along is an exit from Waterloo East
at the end turn left into Cornwall Road – under the railway bridge
Walk to the Traffic lights to cross A3200 Stamford Street and then past the car park and then at the end look left along Upper Ground and there is IBM block - register at reception (TLS is to the righton Upper Ground )
