Consumer Display Interfaces in a Professional World

Peter Putman, ROAM Consulting

DVI, HDMI, DisplayPort, Thunderbolt, HDCP...   For a while SDI was ubiquitous and predictable in the professional TV industry, but things keep changing!  Display guru Peter Putman will discuss consumer interfaces that are now becoming common on professional equipment, as well issues encountered when using consumer equipment in a pro environment.

DIRECTIONS:
The NAB is at the corner of 18th and N streets, NW, just south of Dupont Circle.  There is street and garage parking on many blocks in the vicinity--check signs and meters for hours!  The closest Metro stop is Dupont Circle (Red line, take south exit).  Farragut West (orange/blue line, take 17th St. exit) is about 1/4 mile walk up 17th Street/Connecticut Ave.
