This month's Program is "Evolution of the Video Switcher" presented by Mark Sharp and Tedd Tramaloni of Ross Video.  We'll look at the steps that brought u sfrom a set of crosspoints upon which you could preform transitions, to having switchers control external devices, to switchers that now include graphics, DVE, and multiviewers in a single box.

After the formal presentation we will tour a converted SWAT vehicle turned HD video truck repurposed by Fairfax CH.16,  The truck features one of the most current evolution of a video switcher, the Ross Graphite, along with several other recent advances in mobile production such as a Dante digital audio snake and bonded cellular live transmission capability.  Additionally, the Hitachi camera system feature dual Triax and SMPTE fiber capability.

In an effort to better predict turnout are now using Eventbrite for monthly meetings.  If you expect to attend please register.  There is no obligation, and unregistered walk-ins are still welcome, but this will help us gauge room size and refreshment orders in advance.
