Students - Apply Today for SMPTE Awards and Grants!
We are currently accepting applications for our Student Awards and Grants. The Louis F. Wolf Jr. Memorial Scholarship offers $5,000 toward the cost of tuition for full-time undergraduate or graduate students studying media technology. The Student Paper Award honors a Student Member for an outstanding paper dealing with a technical phase of media and entertainment. The application deadline for both is 10 May. We are also pleased to announce the Luff Media Technology Grant, which is intended to support undergraduate or graduate students pursuing a career in media technology, and can be used for expenses related to internships or practical education.
