SMPTE Students on Discord
Did you know that SMPTE Students have a discussion channel on Discord?
Discord is a place for our student members to ask questions – and our professional members to answer them. We have about 100 members so far, and encourage students and professionals to join. It’s a great place to meet other students, get advice, give advice and share resources.
We’d like to have some student events on Discord – students, please join and tell us what you would like to know more about at #ask-smpte.
A big shout out to our Membership Directors and moderators, Chris Lapp and Ian MacSpadden who have been running the platform.
New to Discord? There’s a short and entertaining video on what it is on YouTube
