    DAY 1:

    Radio content delivery, RF and Beyond - Session Chair Rich Redmond, Managing Partner of Strativa Advisors

    Delivering radio content has evolved over the past 100 years, however the pace of innovation has accelerated recently bringing new approaches to wireless content delivery.  Advances in transmission network design, digital delivery solutions, integration with public IP networks and advances in RF system designs provide for increased efficiency in content delivery and greater flexibility in implementation.  Speakers will address multiple topics of advancements in radio content delivery.

    DAY 2:

    Nextgen TV is NOW - Jim Stenberg, Principal broadcast RF engineer with American Tower Corporation

    This session will present the current status of the ATSC 3.0 rollout in the US and worldwide with a focus on the technical aspects of how host stations are implementing the standard, what they are finding for issues, and what receiving devices are out there.  It is intended to generate an understanding that implementation is really underway and not just a future activity.

    DAY 3:

    The Codec Debate - Dr. Mickael Raulet, CTO at ATEME

    With the emergence of 8K and new video services such as extended reality with 6 degrees of freedom, there is a need for more efficient compression. Additionally video is widely used, considering more than 80% of the Internet traffic over mobile phones is for such services.  To reduce further video traffic and enable optimum consumption; improved compression is a key factor and will be required, it will also bring benefits for environment topics.
