Which methods for measuring and displaying color accuracy are currently used in display measurement? What problems do we encounter when measuring HDR displays? And what would be a possible alternative form of representation for the results of color measurements?
Dagmar Driesnack, Dipl. Ing. (FH), graduated in Media Technology at the University of Applied Sciences in Mittweida. In 2006, she joined IRT as a research engineer and is now working in the department “AV Technologies”. She leads the project “Future Video” at IRT focusing on UHD and its aspects for acquisition, production and distribution. She chaired various EBU groups and is currently chair of the EBU’s Video Systems group (Project Group of SP Production). She is also a member of the DVB project, SMPTE and the FKT.
Justin Hug, B.Eng. (FH), graduated in media technology from Rhein-Main University of Applied Sciences. He wrote his bachelor's thesis at ZDF in Mainz with the topic "IP standards for live production". In April 2020, he started his master thesis at IRT in the department "AV Technologies". He is also a member of SMPTE and FKTG.
