SMPTE Education, in partnership with Women is Streaming Media, held the first of a five-part webcast series on Wednesday. “C2PA: Content Authenticity, Credentials, and Building Trust in Media” was presented by Olga Kornienko, COO and Co-Founder of EXRDM. She discussed the benefits of C2PA in an era of deepfakes and generative AI, especially when combined with other verification tools. SMPTE NY held their annual winter party this week at Dorlran’s Tavern in Manhattan. The party was a great opportunity to reconnect with former colleagues, make new connections, and have a good time with like-minded peers.
