El Cid rides to greater glory with new Christie projectors! The Puy du Fou España historical theme park located near Toledo, Spain, has upgraded an immersive 360° projection system with nine Christie Griffyn 4K35-RGB pure laser projectors. The installation for the El Último Cantar experience is part of an ongoing technology upgrade and continuous improvement programme for the 2026 season, during which the park expects to welcome more than 1.9 million visitors, after closing 2025 with record attendance figures. Colorfront Adds Multi-Tier HLS Export for Apple Immersive Video! Colorfront has updated its Immersive Utility application with support for HTTP Live Streaming (HLS), allowing creators to export streaming-ready Apple Immersive Video packages for Apple Vision Pro directly from the application. The update adds multi-tier HLS output alongside the software’s existing Apple Immersive Video Utility (AIVU) workflow, enabling users to create both AIVU files and HLS streaming packages from the same source media.
