SMPTE San Francisco held another event for professionals and students following the success of their last one! The meeting took place at the Chase Center, home of Golden State Warriors, and featured a tour and discussion of their SMPTE ST 2110 IP connectivity infrastructure. They also held an after party at a brewery for some added fun!

SMPTE Florida held a meeting that discussed the technology behind the most recent Olympics broadcasts! The meeting was held virtually, and featured Darryl Jefferson, SVP, Engineering & Technology, NBC Sports & Olympics, revealing the strategies and execution for the 2026 Winter games, including remote production, resiliency at scale, immersive formats, AI and automation, and what these advancements may mean for the road to LA 2028.
