Similar to the OLC, we will put notifications in place where it makes sense. We are mindful of not overwhelming a user’s inbox with too many emails. So far we are only sending notifications for new ballots. File notifications were put in place but deactivated due to a member requests and a decision by the Standards Committee. We are working on a more flexible system for file upload notifications. A beta version of this new system was released and is in testing in Standards Committee.
Notifications are created by Microsoft Power Automate workflows. Microsoft Teams may send additional notifications e.g., for comments on action items.
