Ariel Paxton is a Storyboard Artist from Atlanta, Georgia. Ariel attended Tri-Cities High School where she was a part of the visual art magnet program. After high school she wanted to pursue a career in animation, so she went to Art Institute of Atlanta where she received a bachelor’s in fine arts in Media Arts & Animation. She continued to build her portfolio after working with 2D and 3D animation. From this experience Ariel learned how much she loved the preproduction process of making a film. The brainstorming, sketching and collaboration were the most exciting stages of seeing an idea come to life. Expanding on her film making and storytelling skills, Ariel obtained her Master of Fine Arts in Animation at Savannah School of Art and Design’s Atlanta Campus. At SCAD she co-directed a student film and directed her own film called, “My Pet Venus” that was submitted to various festivals like AIFA- East Film Festival 2020, Atlanta Film festival 2022 and River Run Festival.

Previously Ariel worked as a 2D animator, storyboard Artist for an independent film called "Enongo- The Sammus Documentary”. She also worked for TeachMe TV as a 2D animator for a short music video called “Wash Your Hands”. Currently, she works at Noggin by Nickelodeon as a Storyboard Artist. She has applied her skill set to help create a fun learning experience for interactive preschool content. When she is not drawing, she enjoys hiking, roller skating with friends, and playing Uno with her friends & family.
