Bhavik has worked in the technology and communications fields for over 25 years, with a focus on cloud computing for the last 15. Since starting his career in product management at HP in Scotland, Bhavik has held a variety of sales engineering, business development and product marketing roles at leading technology companies including HP, Agilent, Aspera, Reliance Communications and AWS. At AWS Bhavik spent 10 years leading Global M&E partner and business development strategy, building solutions with partners and customers in the areas of Post/VFX, Live Production, Supply Chain, MAM/Archive, and all flavors of live and non-live Distribution. Bhavik also spent 18 months as a product manager at Amazon Studios, leading post-production virtualization efforts. Bhavik was part of the AWS team, that jointly won the 2020 Technical Emmy award for Cloud-based Media Supply Chain and Broadcast Playout with Discovery, Fox, Evertz and SDVI. From Bhavik holds a B.Eng. (Hons) EE degree from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, and an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco.
