In the field of virtual production, devices that have traditionally existed in silos are now required to interoperate, often leading to expensive and time consuming development, and proprietary and closed source solutions. This session’s speakers will discuss the latest updates from the SMPTE RiS OSVP Interoperability Workstream committee for Camera Lens Metadata & Camera Tracking. A resource created by this committee includes the CAMDKIT which software manufacturers can adopt to help track important metadata fields provided by cinema cameras and lenses for Visual Effects.
