Guest Speaker: Alex Grossman
Alex Grossman is the founder and CEO of Symply, Inc. With more than two decades of product and market development, he drove Symply to pioneer hyper-converged workflow infrastructure for media professional and story tellers. The companies award-winning UI designs and cloud-based machine-learning an AI driven management provide users with unmatched efficiency and user experience. Prior to forming Symply, Grossman was the vice president of Media and Entertainment at Quantum corporation where he was responsible for all media-centric product line development and go to market for media and cloud initiatives. Before Quantum, Grossman was founder and CEO of Active Storage, an award-winning developer of media and Apple-centric workflow storage solutions. Previous he was an executive with Apple, heading up the server and storage product lines and responsible for driving development, marketing and management. Earlier Grossman served as senior vice president of sales, marketing and product development at MicroNet Technology Inc. a developer and manufacturer of storage products for Apple and IT managers. He has authored and contributed to several patents. He led the team that developed the first Firewire®-based storage area network.
