IP Monitoring and Measurement

October 1, 2024 12:00 PM

As they embrace IP infrastructure and the new standards created for IP-based operations and workflow, broadcast engineers need to understand the new technology and techniques essential to monitoring signals on an IP network. In this webcast, Mike Waidson will examine the basic structure of the packets for ST 2022-6 and the emerging ST 2110 suite, discuss the impact of latency and how variable delay across the network introduces jitter at the receiver, and outline the use of measurement and monitoring to ensure an error-free network for transmission of high bit rate media.
