Description

Over a decade into the industry's transition to the 2110 standard, this session explores how the sector has adopted the new technology, highlighting key improvements in infrastructure and workflows. We will also examine the challenges faced during this transition and provide insights into the next steps as the industry continues to evolve towards full implementation of the standard. DELETEWith over 11 years in leadership at Evertz, Fernando has been instrumental in expanding and guiding Solutions Engineering and Architecture teams. His work focuses on fostering advanced system designs and pioneering Network and IP innovations for global media and broadcast corporations. In his leadership role, Fernando provides strategic direction for the system solutions engineering group, shaping high-level planning and design for major projects. Prior to joining Evertz, he served as the Strategic Operations Manager for Bell Media, overseeing cross-country data and video networks, managing budgets, and leading acquisitions for annual and large-scale capital projects.
