Come join us for a fantastic evening at RagingWire’s “showcase” facility in Sacramento!

In addition to a facility tour, RagingWire will also provide a presentation on technology trends and cyber security of the critical and dynamic data center industry, discussing Network, Cloud and Network Security aspects of their IT Services.

RagingWire is hosting this event especially for our SMPTE Section and will provide beverages and snacks!

Security is a high priority for them, so RSVP’s are required and you must bring a valid photo ID to enter the building. Also, for their clients privacy, no photos nor video recordings are allowed. Please RSVP to msmothers@ewingfoley.com by Monday, October 14.

About the speakers:

Ross Buchholz

Started with RagingWire in 2001, Ross started as the first Help Desk Technician hired for our company. His current title is Director of IT Services. His areas of expertise are IT Service Delivery, Vendor Outsourcing, IT Expenditures and Budgeting, IT Project Management, Organizational Change Management and Process Engineering. He is also our self-appointed RagingWire Historian.  Received his BS in Microbiology and Genetic Engineering, proving you don’t have to work in the field you majored in!

Ron Walker

Started with RagingWire in 2017, Ron specializes in Governance, Risk and Compliance. His current title is Sr. Director of IT Assurance. His areas of expertise include Internal and External IT Security Assessments, Ethical Hacking and Social Engineering. He was a crucial contributor for the completion of the ISO 27001 certification, SOC 1&2 type 2 as well as HIPPA, PCI-DSS and NIST/FISMA certifications RagingWire required to obtain.

Non-members and guests are welcome to attend. SMPTE annual memberships are available on-line (https://www.smpte.org/join) and start at $75 for an individual and $15 for students.
