The next combined meeting of the SBE Chapter 52 and the SMPTE Ohio Section, will take place on Thursday, June 20th, at the:

WOSU Public Media plant

1800 North Pearl Street

Columbus OH 43201

There is street level metered parking adjacent to the building as well as the Ohio Union Parking Garage across from that vicinity located at 1759 North High Street.

The social/refreshment period begins at 7PM, followed by the full meeting at 7:30 PM.

The speaker for the evening meeting will be Ed Shrider, a SMPTE Ohio Section Manager. Ed's technical presentation is entitled, "How Television Covers Horse Racing." It will include the many legal and technical requirements that horse racing demands from the various tracks, state commissions, as well as for broadcasts. A sure to be lively question & answer session will follow. Finally, the meeting will wrap up with a detailed guided tour of the new, modern, WOSU Public Media plant facilities. Hope to see everyone there on the 20th!
