Topic: Remi Production; The new production workflow model

Date: 9 December, 2021

Time: 12:00 p.m. EST

REMI or Remote Integration Model and is a production workflow that allows content to be streamed from anywhere and managed from a central location. REMI workflows maintain all the key production elements you’d find in a standard broadcast. REMI workflows, however, have a significant advantages over a traditional production approach. By leveraging a central control room, you can decrease your setup time and simplify the on-site technology needed. In addition, REMI workflows allow certain technical and editorial functions to happen remotely, reducing or eliminating travel costs. Finally REMI productions offer the ability to decrease your on-site infrastructure, thus reducing your overall costs. I will discuss this and give examples of how it works.
