INSIGHTS
Via Zoom (participation is limited to the first 80 registrants). Registration is required – see below.
The Media Forward Town Hall is for students interested in media technology – audio, video, streaming, podcasting, editing and more. SMPTE is the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, the leading worldwide media technology membership organization. Our Members run television networks and stations, sports facilities, film and recording studios, production houses as well as cloud services, technology companies and a host of other media technology enterprises. This is an opportunity for students to meet media professionals and industry leaders, learn about the latest media technologies and explore career possibilities.
This will be a “Town Hall” format where students can meet, learn from, and ask questions of SMPTE media professionals. We will have several “breakout rooms”, each with a specific topic of interest to students and SMPTE media professionals as hosts. Students will be able to freely move between these breakout rooms.
