She will also be presenting on the basics of metadata and approaches on how to take advantage of existing, published standards.

 

Yonah never anticipated that when she answered an ad in college to typeset for the student newspaper that it would launch her career in metadata, standards and markup. She has been instrumental in implementing change wherever she works. At WarnerMedia, she is the Manager of Metadata Strategy and Taxonomy Governance, and leads efforts to extend terminology consistency for the enterprise while adhering to industry standards. She received her Masters in Library and Information Science from Rutgers University.

 

She is the co-director, co-founder as well as an instructor of Rutgers' online DAM certificate program which launched in Sept. 2019.
