February 24, 20217:00 PM - 8:30 PM
Mark your calendars! Register here.

Yonah Levenson (WarnerMedia) will be presenting on the LMT (Language Metadata Table), a standardized set of 239 language codes (and growing!).  Yonah is the chair of the Language Metadata Table committee, which is sponsored by MESA and SMPTE. The LMT, a vetted list of language codes that comply with IETF BCP 47, is becoming accepted as the master source of language codes for the media and entertainment industry and has been adopted by standards organizations and content creators for starters. For the latest version of the LMT, please go to: https://www.mesaonline.org/language-metadata-table.

She will also be presenting on the basics of metadata and approaches on how to take advantage of existing, published standards.
