This course focuses on switching technologies and router operations supporting small-to-medium networks, including wireless local area networks (WLAN) and security concepts. Building on your knowledge of architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches, you will perform basic network configuration and troubleshooting, identify and mitigate LAN security threats, and configure and secure a basic WLAN. You’ll further develop your critical thinking and problem-solving skills as you employ industry best practices, and you’ll earn a Cisco Networking Academy badge upon completion of the course.
