It seems new technologies that encompass the cloud infrastructure are being offered on a regular basis.  Manufacturers have packaged some of their product line with the Cloud and are offering this as a new service.  Whether it be the Broadcast, Production, Postproduction or other media outlets, everyone is paying close attention as this allows for off-prem services. This in itself offers many opportunities.  

This SMPTE meeting will provide an overview of the state of cloud-based technology for media – 
-    What is possible today?
-    Where do the challenges lie?
-    What does the future hold?
