The delegates are grabbing a final coffee and comparing notes on last night's excellent dinner at the Chateau des Eaux Vives, overlooking the lake in Geneva. Day two of the SMPTE/EBU conference on emerging media technologies is about to get under way.

Once again, leading international commentator and writer Dick Hobbs and his Mac are at the back of the room, ready to bring readers of the SMPTE blog first thoughts from the conference.
