VIRTUAL CLASSROOM TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Self-study Class Registrations

Enroll only in classes you want to complete. Members who wish to take free self-study classes are required to access and make continued progress within the class. If you register for a class and you do not make progress or access the class in three months, you will be unenrolled from the class. Multiple enrollments may disqualify you from further benefits.

Private Courses:

All SMPTE’s virtual courses are also available as private sessions (live or online) for organizations. Contact us for details about private course options and any curriculum-related questions. Private courses are priced individually and offer will be provided based on inputs received from interested organizations.

Transfers:

If you register but cannot attend and would like your registration fee applied to a future course, please contact us for a transfer to another course. A $75 transfer fee will apply.

Extensions:

If you cannot meet your course deadline you may request an extension. A $100 extension fee will apply.

Refunds:

Refunds will be issued for cancellations made at least three weeks prior to the course start date. Students can also request a refund during the first week of instruction only if they feel that the course is not what they expected, or if they estimate that they won’t be able to meet the course objectives or deadlines. A cancellation fee of 10% ($100 for CCNA courses) will apply. No refunds will be issued after that time.

Group Discounts:

Groups of 3 – 10 registrants will receive a 10% discount.

Groups of 11- 20 registrants will receive a 15% discount.

Groups of 21 or more registrants will receive a 20% discount.
