SMPTE UK North visited Sky Leeds earlier this week. It was the fifth event held by SMPTE UK North, and it was jammed packed. Beginning with a networking portion, dinner and drinks included, the main event was a discussion around the transformation into a more software-defined broadcast workflow. This discussion was followed by the panel “Broadcasting in Transition: The Current State and Future of Software-Defined & Cloud-Driven Workflows." The final portion of the meeting was another networking event with more drinks and food. It’s good to be a member of SMPTE UK!
