About the speaker:

Michael Cronk is Vice President of Advanced Technology for Grass Valley.  Michael guides the critical development of Grass Valley's next generation core technologies for both cloud and on-premise topologies including Grass Valley's innovative, new Agile Media Processing Board for the Alliances for IP Media Solutions (AIMS) - an organization dedicated to the promotion of open standards and specifications for the media and entertainment industry.

Michael has held a number of leadership roles within Grass Valley including:  General Manager of Server and News, and Vice President of Marketing between 1989 and 2008, Senior Vice President of Marketing and Products in 2013 and Senior Vice President of Strategic Marketing from 2014 to 2016.

Mike holds bachelor and master of science degrees in electrical engineering from MIT.
