During the CineSocial Hour preceding the main presentations, from 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm, tours of ARRI Rental's impressive new Long Island City facility will be conducted.

All lighting technology under discussion will be demonstrated.

PRESENTERS

Brian Doran — Product Specialist, Lighting, ARRI Lighting

A discussion of ARRI’s directional Orbiter LED, its six-color ARRI Spectra light engine, 25° and 35° projection optics for gobos and cuts with motorized focus, and Orbiter Docking Ring to adapt existing third-party optics and accessories.

Chuck Edwards — VP LED Innovation, Cineo Lighting

An exploration of liquid cooling technology to improve the power density of LED hard lights and the application of Colorimetry to calibrate and control different full-color LED light sources on production stages.

Paul Distefano — N.E. Regional Sales Mgr., DeSisti Lighting

The Muses of Light is a new line of cinema lighting co-designed by DeSisti and legendary cinematographer Vittorio Storaro. The Muses are a striking departure from the traditional lighting fixtures, with ten fixtures in various sizes and beam spreads from 11° to 105°.

Mitch Gross — Director of Sales, Americas, Prolycht Lighting

A discussion of the technical advantages of the six-color light engine in LED emitter technology.
