Virtual production is revolutionizing content production by combining traditional production tools with virtual and augmented reality, CGI, and game-engine technologies. It allows new efficiencies in the production process while enabling features never before possible in a live production setting. Virtual production is an evolving field that relies on advance software and computing capabilities. This presentation will focus on the hardware and compute technology required by modern game engines used in virtual production.

Roy is a 30-year veteran at intel with a background in Silicon Manufacturing, Post-Silicon Validation & Technical Marketing. Roy’s expertise is in platform-level performance including I/O subsystems, memory, processor architecture, graphics and networking. Roy Hill is currently a Senior TME in Intel's Client Computing Group responsible for delivering key technical marketing collateral across Intel’s workstation products and platforms.
