• COVID-19 In The Media Workplace. How are media organizations dealing with Covid-19 as employees go back to the workplace? Louise Shideler from Chesapeake Systems moderates the conversation as we share stories on how we navigate this new frontier.
• Remote and @Home Production. The current pandemic has accelerate the use of remote, REMI and at-home production as well as cloud-based production. Eric Hoehn from SiriusXM and Fred Willard from Univision are on hand to help us explore how these technologies are helping media organizations survive Covid. What works? What doesn’t? Where do we go from here? Will this become the new normal?
• The Transition from SDI to IP. We’re in the middle of the transition to all-IP media facilities with a large number of ST 2110 all-IP production facilities now in operation. Steve Wynn from Sony facilitates discussion on how is the transition going. What are the challenges and lessons learned?
• OTT and IP Transport. New transport technologies are making the internet work better than ever for live video, from RIST for acquisition to CMAF and WebRTC for distribution. Go behind the scenes as Carlos Rojas from Verizon facilitates this breakout room so we can understand these technologies better and create new opportunities.
