Theme: “When Media and AI Meet - Innovate, Adapt, Transform, and Generate”
Dates: June 11 and 12, 2024
Location: Toronto (both in-person and on-line offerings)
Conference Focus: With the rapid changes in our media industries, TTC 2024 will delve into Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its impact on the media industry. We’ll explore topics such as:
     - Fundamentals and R&D of AI
     - Responsible AI
     - Impacts of AI on Media
Key Events:
     - June 11 (Evening):
          - Networking BBQ Event: Starting at 5:30 PM, join us for networking opportunities.
          - Formal Section Meeting: At 7:00 PM, we’ll kick off the conference.
     - June 12 (Full Day):
          - Presentations: A day filled with insightful presentations.
          - Trade Showcase: Explore the latest innovations.
          - Social/Networking Reception: Wrap up the day with networking.

March 4, 2024 - General Information

The Toronto Section of the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers is once again proud to be holding its widely popular Toronto Technical Conference (TTC). This year the conference will be both in-person and virtual. With the rapid and wide-ranging changes taking place in our media industries, this year’s conference focuses on Artificial Intelligence and how it is affecting the media industry.
 
Theme:  When Media and AI Meet - Innovate, Adapt, Transform and Generate
 
Dates:  June 11 and 12, 2024
 
We will kick off TTC 2024 by having our yearly BBQ and social / networking event and Section meeting on June 11th.

The TTC 2024 main event, June 12th, will be a day full of presentations, trade showcase opportunities and ending with a social / networking reception. 

More information to follow as it becomes available.  Our organizing committee is hard at work putting together a great event.  TTC 2024 will be offered in both an in-person and virtual offering.

Some of the topics we are looking to present to are:

• Responsible AI
• Impacts to Media
