From Duct Tape and Bailing Wire to SMPTE ST 2110: How Engineering Students Made the Super Bowl Broadcast Happen!

Please Join us for this SMPTE webcast highlighting the engineering operations for the 2023 Super Bowl.

Description

Have you ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes to produce a Super Bowl broadcast? Did you know that engineering students/interns play a significant role? Please Join us for this SMPTE webcast highlighting the engineering operations for the 2023 Super Bowl. We will hear from three engineers who started as student interns and went on to full-time positions while attending engineering school. They went on to establish internship programs at multiple universities and colleges. You will hear their stories about how their interest in engineering became a career, what was effective and ineffective about their internships, and what they experienced working on the Super Bowl. The four speakers will also share their stories and insights about how to stay ahead in a fast-paced technology environment with virtual courses.
