How Virtual Technologies Are Enhancing Story-Telling In Live Production

This Chapter Meeting will demonstrate how Media Companies are adding Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Sets (VS) to their live productions to further enhance their ability to tell stories and capture audiences. The presentation will include a fully tracked virtual studio with a robotic camera system that will be used to demonstrate AR without a green screen and VS with a green screen. There will be a review of the core components of a virtual studio: tracking, keying, and rendering and a Q&A session will follow the presentation.

Chris Mollomo, Manager of the Virtual Design Group for Ross Video will lead the discussion, and will be joined by other experts from Ross Video’s Virtual Solutions Group.
