SMPTE Toronto is pleased to announce our annual student focused Section Meeting; an evening designed to inspire emerging professionals and anyone curious about the technologies shaping the future of media. Traditionally held in February, this year’s session has been moved to March to accommodate venue scheduling.

This special event will take place at Scotiabank Arena, a premier multi purpose venue in downtown Toronto and home to the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Raptors. It is one of the city’s most advanced environments for large scale sports and entertainment production, making it an ideal backdrop for this year’s program.

Following the meeting, attendees are invited to a casual networking gathering at the Steam Whistle Brewery Tap Room, 255 Bremner Blvd just a short walk from Scotiabank Arena. Food and beverages will be available on a pay your own basis.
